Veronika Grinstein, a native of Vilnius, Lithuania, is a classically trained dancer in ballet and modern dance. She has a competitive Ballroom dance background, with a focus in Latin dance. She has been teaching sensual bachata with Sensual Movement for six years, directing performance teams, and teaching workshops at festivals all over the USA, as well as internationally. She is also one of the main instructors and directors at Sensual Movement, as well as one of the Sensual Movement‘s managers.
Amed, born in Cuba, raised in both Cuba and Ecuador. Dancing for about 15 years, with focus on Bachata Sensual, Salsa Casino, and ON1 style. Moved to the US 6 years ago, and has been dancing and teaching all over the country. After spending time in Europe training with top European artists, he came back to the US on a mission to elevate the sensual bachata Style.
Suzana, born in Russia raised in Tel Aviv, Israel- one of the top cities for bachata sensual. Dancing bachata and Salsa ON1 for about 7 years now with a background in ballroom dancing and modern Jazz. Moved to the US 5 years ago for a master’s degree in business. Since then she is trying to grow and promote the bachata sensual scene around the US.
Pierre is a bachata artist originally from Togo, West Africa, who discovered his passion for bachata dancing 5 years ago. You could say it was love at first dance! Pierre later turned that passion into reality and founded Bachata Denver, a growing dance community in 2018. This is where his love for teaching sensual/modern style bachata flourished and soon after began his partnership with Alejandra! Alejandra is a bachata artist originally from Colombia. Her elegant style and grace comes from 8 years of dance experience, in various styles ranging from Latin to Ballroom. She fell in love with Sensual Bachata because it allows you to create a connection with your partner through the rhythm of the music. Her goal as a bachata instructor is to help other dancers experience the feeling of expressing yourself through music and how it feels to dance from the heart.
Anastasia and Jovanny are bachata artists based in Orlando, FL, with extensive Bachata Sensual training under their belt. They traveled many times to Cadiz, Spain (the birth city of Bachata Sensual) to train with the founders of this dance Korke y Judith and other official ambassadors of the brand, like Luis y Andrea, Chaves y Sylvia, etc, and made it their priority to continue traveling and training all over the world since. They are the owners of Bachata Sensual Orlando and directors of Luis & Andrea Bachata team. They are very technique focused and have a strong objective to build a stronger Bachata social scene in their hometown and in the US. Most importantly, they want to share not just their knowledge but also their passion and excitement for the dance with other members of the dance community and new faces as well!
Johanna Pellerin is a teacher and choreographer born and raised in Paris, trained in different dance style (ballet, jazz, contemporary, belly dance). She graduated in Jazz and Contemporary choreographic program before moving to New York to integrate the Alvin Ailey School in fall 2017. In the US she trained in modern dance and hip hop as well as other dances. She graduated from the scholarship program and started her training in sensual bachata and salsa, she is a very successful teacher and choreographer working internationally.
Tayler Stinnett, originally from Kentucky, now has made NYC her home for the past four years. Tayler began dancing at three years old and is well diverse in styles such as ballet/pointe, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre, improv, bachata/salsa, & street styles. Tayler spent a year training in a contemporary company ( Found Movement Group) out of Nashville, TN before she moved to NYC on scholarship to study singing, dancing, & acting through The Institute for American Musical Theatre. During this time, she had the opportunity to be the assistant choreographer of an immersive show (The Hidden Ones) as well as the dance captain for Broadway Dance Lab. Tayler continued expanding her career by training in Latin dances such as Salsa (Chiara Tofani’s Ladies Team) and Sensual Bachata. She has now been a company member/ main instructor for Sensual Bachata over the past two years through Sensual Movement where she is currently teaching Styling. She also performed and taught in various Congresses throughout the United States.
Oksana is a movement artist from Ukraine. There she learned hip-hop and became a professional in the art of pantomime. Oksana moved to the United States in 2017 to pursue her dance career. She is currently a senior in MSU BFA Dance program where she receives her training in modern and ballet. Amongst variety of passions for dance, sensual bachata has a special place in her heart. Oksana was training bachata in California and NYC. She soon became a part of Sensual Movement performing team and has taught and performed with SM at Latin dance congresses in Orlando, Chicago, Denver, Washington D.C., Punta Cana and many others.❤️
