Patrick Mozo started his artistic journey as a Martial Artist at 12 years old, competing and performing in different cities. In 2012 he began dancing Bachata and Salsa at Estilo Urbano under Fernando Rodriguez in Uruguay. During that time, he learned Sensual Bachata, Salsa On1 and On2, Afro, Rumba, Hip Hop and Jazz until he moved to US in 2017. Introducing himself to the NYC scene right away, Patrick began teaching with Sensual Movement in 2018, and has continued to train with the best in the world such as Daniel & Desiree.
Patrick and Johanna have been teaching for almost two years together traveling around the USA, Dominican Republic, South America and Europe to teach and perform.
Johanna Pellerin is a teacher and choreographer born and raised in Paris, trained in different dance style (ballet, jazz, contemporary, belly dance). She graduated in Jazz and Contemporary choreographic program before moving to New York to integrate the Alvin Ailey School in fall 2017. In the US she trained in modern dance, hip hop and more. She graduated from the scholarship program and started her training in sensual bachata and salsa, now teaching and choreographing internationally.
Tayler Stinnett, originally from Kentucky, now has made NYC her home for the past four years. Tayler began dancing at three years old and is well diverse in styles such as ballet/pointe, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre, improv, bachata/salsa, & street styles. Tayler spent a year training in a contemporary company ( Found Movement Group) out of Nashville, TN before she moved to NYC on scholarship to study singing, dancing, & acting through The Institute for American Musical Theatre. During this time, she had the opportunity to be the assistant choreographer of an immersive show (The Hidden Ones) as well as the dance captain for Broadway Dance Lab. Tayler continued expanding her career by training in Latin dances such as Salsa (Chiara Tofani’s Ladies Team) and Sensual Bachata. She has now been a company member/ main instructor for Sensual Bachata over the past two years through Sensual Movement where she is currently teaching Styling. She also performed and taught in various Congresses throughout the United States.
From Peru to New York City, Mayra has carved a remarkable path as a professional dancer, proficient in diverse styles including ballet, contemporary, salsa, bachata, and ballroom. Her training began with the prestigious Nacional Ballet company of Peru, setting the stage for her dynamic career.
Earning the title of National Bachata Champion in Peru, Mayra's talent and dedication are self-evident. Beyond her individual achievements, she's collaborated with prominent Peruvian artists in concerts and music videos, enhancing these performances with her unique flair.
Now in New York City, Mayra has plunged herself into the bachata dance world. As a signed artist with Sensual Movement, she spends considerable time teaching in NYC and traveling to various Bachata and salsa festivals, sharing her expertise and passion through teaching, performing, and dancing.
Living by Phillip Sweet's words, "Stay true to yourself, yet always be open to learn," Mayra continues to evolve and inspire, embodying the essence of dedication and the transformative power of dance.
Oksana is a movement artist from Ukraine. There she learned hip-hop and became a professional in the art of pantomime. Oksana moved to the United States in 2017 to pursue her dance career. She is currently a senior in MSU BFA Dance program where she receives her training in modern and ballet. Amongst variety of passions for dance, sensual bachata has a special place in her heart. Oksana was training bachata in California and NYC. She soon became a part of Sensual Movement performing team and has taught and performed with SM at Latin dance congresses in Orlando, Chicago, Denver, Washington D.C., Punta Cana and many others.
Becky’s dancing narrative began in 2015 where she began social dancing with random strangers all over miami beach. she sought to learn technique and training around 2019 with different latin dance teachers in order to help students in the scene dance socially versus competitively. becky’s upbringing and progression in social dancing has since been dedicated to understanding the music, the figures, different bodies, and how to combine both choreography and social dance technique to the appropriate mediums using bachata influence from spain, zouk influences from brazil, and some added style from salsa both ballroom and street. she travels frequently and attends classes, socials, and congresses at least 6 times a year. becky deeve currently has a following of 39k on instagram and 29k on tik tok, with an engagement on posts of about 10-20% on average and in between 1500-6000 views on stories. platforms are grown organically and any collaborations are up for negotiation via direct message or email.
Bruno Almazan began dancing in 2016 at a cuban restaurant where he was working as a server. he took rueda de casino classes at that restaurant and met a local dance teacher who invited him to participate in a yamulee project. bruno is a quick learner and after one year he was helping his teacher with beginner classes at the academy. bruno has been teaching for 4 years and is passionate about sharing his knowledge and love for latin rhythms with the world, that’s why he started doing tips and tutorials on social media during the pandemic and went viral on tik tok. different organizers have approached him to do workshops in different events in different cities of méxico and bruno never rests on social dancing because it’s his favorite part of this dance medium. bruno almazan currently has a following of 111k on instagram and 1.9M on tiktok. platforms are grown organically and any collaborations are up for negotiation via direct message or email. introducing becky deeve and bruno almazan becky and bruno met in méxico december 2021 after organizing a collaborative video to post to their social media platforms. with their platforms combined they reached out to 1 million plus users on both tik tok and instagram. they are currently still training and creating choreography pieces to compete with as well as engaging and consistently training their social dancing skills to teach properly in méxico, europe, and the united states. their platforms currently combined reach 2 million users on both tik tok and instagram.
Marco Espejo Nuñez is a Peruvian dancer born in Trujillo (Perú) in 1988.
He began dancing and learning music in Perú, with Peruvian traditional dance and saxophone. He moved to Huelva, Spain when he was 18 and began learning Latin rhythms.
Within a few years Marco was competing and wining Bachata competitions with his partner, Elisa Toimil.
Sara Panero is a Spanish dancer born in Salamanca (Spain) in 1993.
Formed from 7 years in various disciplines of dance such as ballet, contemporary dance, modern dance, hip-hop.
At 16 she began dancing Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba and at 18 Sara moved to Madrid to attend the Conservatory of Dance Fortea (Madrid), to specialize in classical ballet.
Daniel y Desiree are arguably the world’s most famous and important Bachata dance couple at the moment, performing at the majority of the world’s Latin dance festivals, as well as being branding and marketing king and queen in the bachata scene.
Both artist were born in Spain, Daniel started as a hip hop dancer at 10 years and Desiree started as a salsa artist at 13 years. After dancing together for a short time, they became Spanish bachata champions in 2010, in 2011 European champions and in 2012 world champions, it wasn’t long after they built their legacy and now their brand is established as Sensual Bachata and fusion artists.
Not only are Daniel y Desiree successful dance partners but they are also happily married with their first child in 2018, and also own their own fashion line for dancers called Gueguere.
Abdel Cubano and Lety Cano are the world champions of bachata fusion. Dancers and professional instructors, national and international based in Spain.

Anastasia and Jovanny are bachata artists based in Orlando, FL, with extensive Bachata Sensual training. They traveled many times to Cadiz, Spain (birth city of Bachata Sensual) to train with the founders of this dance, Korke y Judith, and other official ambassadors of the brand, and have a Gold-level teaching certification by Daniel & Desiree. This diverse blend of training gives them a deep understanding of Bachata technique and creates their unique style of dancing and teaching that they now share at festivals around the USA and internationally.
In addition to dance Anastasia & Jovanny have fulfilling careers. Anastasia, originally from Russia, is an artist with many multimedia skills, currently working in the video game industry. Her lifetime of formal and informal artistic training allowing her to understand how to create beautiful and artistic dance.
Jovanny, born in New Jersey with Puerto Rican/Salvadorian ethnicity, is an aerospace engineer with a long history competing and teaching martial arts. His technical background and years of teaching experience give him a unique ability to explain detailed technique to his students in a way they understand.
They own Bachata Sensual Orlando LLC Dance School, which prides itself in a technique-focused approach and drive to build a stronger Bachata scene in Orlando.
Kayla and Brian are bachata artists based in Seattle, WA. With a joint mission to inspire and develop strong technical social dancers, they helped pioneer the rich and fast-growing Bachata Sensual movement in the Pacific Northwest and continue to elevate their bachata community through teaching teams/classes at their resident studio, Salsa Con Todo, and by throwing upscale bi-annual socials with their organization, Bachata Anonymous. Kayla started dancing hip hop at a young age then began her near decade journey of specialized training in Hawaiian & Tahitian dance. She trained under Kumu Krista Moani Espiritu of Halau Hula O Lehualani where she danced and studied the ‘Auana (contemporary) and Kahiko (traditional) hula styles. Much of her training was grounded in technique of fluid body movements, controlled continual motions, and soulful expression. Her first exposure to Bachata Sensual was in early 2018 where she quickly picked up it's similarities of hip and body movement techniques to hula. Since then Kayla has fully dedicated herself to her bachata career while continuing to cross train in zouk, salsa, and hip hop.
Brian began his dance journey in high school and continued through college where he spent 7 years training and competing in hip hop. He competed in 1v1 freestyle competitions and won various regional competitions. Upon moving to Seattle in 2016 he took his first bachata classes where he fell in love with the music, dance form, and committed to becoming a bachata artist. Being a singer and pianist for over 20 years musicality has been instilled in Brian’s expression. He loves applying it to his dancing as well as teaching students to apply it in theirs.
Kayla and Brian’s combined dance backgrounds breed their unique style rooted in smoothness/fluidity, lightness, connection, and musicality. Much of their background with Bachata Sensual comes from intensive training under Pablo and Raquel in their Smooth Bachata methodologies. They frequently travel to Spain each year to continue their dance education with the founders and artists of Bachata Sensual to further their mission to spread the love of dance and develop strong technical social dancers that can confidently enjoy their experience in any environment.
Jason Kimchi, a South Korean native, is a multi-talented artist who seamlessly combines his passion for music with his deep understanding of body chemistry to create captivating dance performances. With a solid foundation in dance, Jason has received extensive training and certifications under the tutelage of renowned instructors including Alex and Desiree, Daniel and Desiree, Bri Jones, JSquared bachata, Fausto Felix & La Fuerza, and many others.
His diverse training has equipped him with a wealth of knowledge in various dance styles, from his notable expertise in bachata to his proficiency in salsa on 2, zouk, kizomba, and merengue. Jason's performances are infused with an unmatched energy that stems from his vast experience and dedication to the art of dance.
